Nirav Patel, President and Chief Executive Officer BSBA, Economics, Ohio State University
Nirav Patel is a lifelong hotelier who started his career in hotels at the age of 19. His passion for the hospitality industry has followed him from his time as a room-service attendant and bellman to sales director, General Manager and beyond. Nirav purchased his first property in the Phoenix market in 2010 and has since increased his portfolio to include three total properties, domestic and international development contracts, and has recently moved into the operations management of companies in the professional and technical service arena.

David Crum, Chief Operating Officer BSBA, Accounting, Ohio State University
Before relocating to Arizona to join HD Management, David controlled the food and beverage department at a large full-service property in Columbus, Ohio. Combining his back-of-house operations knowledge and formal education, he was the first Operations Officer for HD Management and has assisted in expanding HD's portfolio to where it stands today. As the company has grown, David has transitioned to the Chief Financial Officer role, utilizing his educational background and providing financial direction to a driven and fast-moving team.

Brenda Garski, Controller, Human Resources Director
Brenda brings 19 years of experience in the hospitality industry to the HD team. She has spent time managing human resources, accounting, and operations during her career. Her wealth of knowledge provides valuable insight and helps to push HD Management forward day in and day out. Brenda currently manages all HR for the HD team as well as her fiduciary responsibilities.

John Schoenauer, Director of Finance, Vice President of Development
John's focus is ensuring that client's obtain the financing necessary to execute deals. He specializes in acquistions, raw land, new construction, and refinancing. With years of experience, he continues to forge relationships and seek out new sources of capital for even the most aggressive deals. Focusing on the hospitality real estate sector, John has worked with conventional, conduit, SBA, mezzanine, and private money lending sources. His passion lies in development and he acts as the lead consultant and liaison on all development projects.

Brian Crum, Director of Food and Beverage Operations
Brian Crum is a seasoned senior level Food and Beverage executive with over 30 years of experience. In addition to Brian’s current role as Director of Food and Beverage Operations, he contracts with the City of Mesa as a consultant to diversified business owners affected by the light rail development in the east valley in an effort to assist in maintaining profitable operations amid the challenges faced in the construction project.  Brian’s executive experience includes oversight of a well established restaurant chain that leased space in Marriott Hotels and Resorts internationally.  Additional hotel experience includes contracted senior level management of the Food and Beverage operation for Noble House Hotels and Resorts.

Matt Jaskela, Operations Manager
Before joining HD Management as its Operations Manager Matt directed the rooms division of a full service 4-star property in Columbus, Ohio where he applied and developed the knowledge from his formal education in Hospitality Management.  Along with supervising the operations of the front desk and housekeeping Matt was also a key decision maker in the banquets department and provided valuable contributions to executive level management in an ongoing attempt to increase profitability and efficiency.  Since joining our team in 2013 Matt has managed multiple limited service properties and continues to develop his skills as our senior and operational manager.
